Pomegranate Limeade

Even without the alcohol, this drink packs a punch. The grenadine is tart and complex. The lime juice is bright and sour. And the soda helps it all work together.

The final result is refreshing and surprisingly low in sugar. Perfect for a break from lawn work or a long day at the lake.

Experiment with adding your favorite spirit to the mix, like vodka or flavored moonshine (see below).

INGREDIENTS:

1 oz. Eli Mason Classic Grenadine

1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Club Soda

Pour the grenadine and lime juice over ice in a Collins glass, top with soda, and give it a quick stir.

VARIATION:

For an easy sipping hot-weather cooler, simply add a splash of Blackberry Moonshine, like the one made by our friends at Tenn South. This libation was a huge hit at the 2014 Music City Food + Wine Festival.
